2022 Ultimate Guide to each Sexual Fetish

A strange, judge-y haze still surrounds kinky sex. “What is a fetish?” is so taboo that even asking the question is considered inappropriate. It’s common for people to assume that those who engage in kinky sex are sexually deviant, unlike those who engage in “regular” sex.

Here is a guide to all you need to know about any popular sexual fetish. Find people near you into over 100 sexual fetishes on a sex-positive social network like Foxtail. Foxtail is free to join so there’s nothing to lose.

What does the word fetish mean?

Kinks that focus on fetishes are known as fetish fetishes. Fascination with something primarily nonsexual is a fetish (feet, bubbles, tickling, leather, latex, cotton panties, etc.). A seemingly innocuous object is an enormous attraction for those obsessed—they’re smitten with it. For most people, sexual arousal is a prerequisite for having a fetish. Some people’s sexual desires might be piqued by licking, kissing or nibbling their lover’s feet. It’s possible to have sex without having a lot of kink in your relationship, but it’s unnecessary.

What is a sexual fetish?

Even if you’ve seen your girlfriends wearing heels during sex, that doesn’t guarantee you’re enjoying shoes. A fetish is a sexual attraction predicated on the presence of a person or a non-sexual body component, such as a shoe or afoot. The most prevalent for women is that some people are obsessed with becoming sexually aroused, having erections, and orgasms. Fetishists may masturbate while stroking or clutching something. Or he may be asked for sex or to wear it by his companion.

A Brief History of Fetish Culture

The term fetish dates back to the 17th century and refers to various artefacts (typically amulets) that some West Africans believe in having supernatural powers. The term took on a more complicated meaning throughout the nineteenth century: “items with excessive devotion or esteem.” The item cannot be physical: a human being may have a fetish for something, such as the erroneous assumption that a particular economy addresses societal problems. Fetish had another connotation in the early 1900s that was unique from its precedents: sexual desire for an object (like the shoe) or body part that was not directly related to the reproductive act.

Tell me the origin of fetish?

The first reports of fetishism date back to the early 1600s. This word is derived from the Latin fractus, which means factious/artful. Not all religious things are regarded as fetishes. This is especially evident in religious groups where people do not believe in objects with spiritual power. Many religious practices even forbid such use or treatment, considering idolatry to be deviant behaviour. Fetish sexual expression is frequently utilized to express personal sexual choice and graphic sexual content. Fetish thought is an exception that is sometimes referred to as kink.

Theories about the Origins of Fetishism

Is it possible for a fetus to develop an addiction? There has been no significant research, and the most current study was case reports. Several other theories, however, have emerged. The term “fetish” was used by psychologist Alfred Binet in 1887 to describe sensual scenes. 2 Fetishists had taken control at that point after being triggered in childhood by a stimulatory experience with a substance. According to research, men can create fetishism in themselves by wearing boots, implying that this can be learned.

Are Fetishes OK?

A sexual fetish, by definition, is not a sickness, although it may reach this level in circumstances where it causes long-term harm. It shouldn’t matter whether someone does it alone or with their partners unless there is something to please them that doesn’t require them to participate. “These people’s behaviour is not fun or sex,” my clients say. Instead, they avoid using sex expressions.

From A to Z, A List of Kinks and Fetishes You Should Know About

Looking at kinks with someone you care about may be incredibly subversive – even exciting. This can be a daunting task for the uninitiated. First, how do you characterize your fetish? Typically, kinky refers to sexual behaviours that society does not consider acceptable. Looking at kinks with someone you care about may be incredibly subversive – even exciting. Cuckolding

This is a well-known obsession that made a list because of its popularity. If you enjoy watching your lover being sexually pleasured by another, you will enjoy this. This is a popular and enjoyable pastime among swingers and people in open relationships. Who doesn’t enjoy seeing their partner leave? Even if it isn’t you. Age Play

Age play is a type of fetish that involves an exchange of power.

Partners will role play and act as though they are different ages than in this game. “A common combination is an adult and a ‘baby,’ who would be cared for as an infant or small child. Age play can also be classified as dominance and submission play, with the partner playing the younger person frequently acting as the submissive. This is not to be confused with autonepiophilia, a condition in which a person derives sexual pleasure from dressing up or behaving like a baby, rather than role-playing as someone of a different age—more on that later.

Group sex.

Group sex is an exciting pastime for many individuals in a society where people love to experiment. Sex with numerous persons allows for more sensations, tongues, and holes to play with – you name it. If you enjoy group sex, you might enjoy orgies, threesomes, etc.

Wax

Wax play is another popular aspect of BDSM that is rarely represented on television, books, or cinema.

According to Richmond, it entails dropping wax on someone or having wax spilt on you. The critical point here is to use good candles. The scented ones you have around the house are unlikely to work and may potentially burn you or your spouse. Choose paraffin or soy candles that progressively pool wax as they burn rather than instantaneously hardening when put onto the body; you can have some fun moving the polish around before it stiffens. Whips

Given how standard whips have become in media depictions of kink and fetishism, this one may not surprise.
If you’re new to whipping, Richmond suggests starting cautiously. This type of power and punishment play is fun, but it can become unpleasant if you and your partner don’t talk it out first. Ask where they want to be beaten and agree on a pain rating, with 10 being the most brutal whip and one being the softest.

Sadism

According to Queen, sadism is often characterized as arousal at the notion of causing pain, but not just any form of pain.

“Pain’ is a difficult word to define in BDSM. It’s not the same as loving period cramps [which, let’s face it, no one enjoys!] or getting your finger caught in a door. People in the kink community prefer the phrase “strong sensation,” since when someone is being spanked or whipped, pinched or pierced, or whatever else is occurring on, their experience may be significantly different from feeling pain in other circumstances.” Instead, the experience of pain will cause a rush of endorphins, which Queen compares to a runner’s high. If someone is interested in sadism, they should look for a partner who is a masochist or someone who enjoys enduring pain.

Pregnancy Fetish

As the term implies, a pregnancy fetish is an extreme sexual attraction to some or all aspects of pregnancy. It may be the round belly, but for others, it may be lactation—whether the act of breastfeeding or the milk itself.

Foot Fetish

Foot fetishes are “shockingly frequent” and are most commonly encountered in men with penises. People who have foot fetishes may be submissives, meaning they want to “worship” at someone’s feet by kissing, massaging, or even giving a pedicure. Others embrace humiliation and wish to be trampled on or have stinky feet on their faces.

Dominant and submissive

The term “dominant” refers to a person who relishes physically dominating their spouse. These might be physical, such as choking, or mental, such as calling someone names. The submissive partner appreciates being controlled and being consensually tied up, smacked, or humiliated.

Examples of Fetish objects

Tell me the type of fetish object that may be the target of fetish disorder? Listed here are some target fetishes:
An article of clothing, such as underwear, rubber clothes, women’s shoes, or women’s undergarments or lingerie, could be the object of a fetish. The fetish may substitute sexual activity with a partner or supplement sexual activity with a consenting partner. Sexual relationships are frequently avoided when the fetish becomes the sole object of sexual desire. A related condition known as partialism involves becoming aroused by a physical component such as the feet, breasts, or buttocks.

Most Common Fetishes

Everyone is a braggart. There might be many websites that discuss various fetish interests. There are so many options. Fetishes include seductive skin motifs and a tanned body. The most prevalent type is undoubtedly the foot. Fluids in the body, as well as hair, are regarded as a fetish. Clothing comes before physical parts. Similar studies put hip-length apparel on tops, such as tight t-shirts and skirts.

Tape of Pipedream Fetish Fantasy Pleasure

Klismaphilia was a classical Greek term that meant “enemas.” An enema is a medical device that removes hot water from the ear’s interior. They are used to alleviate constipation in some hospitals. Not as glamorous as the Greeks portray. This issue usually includes the pleasures obtained from receiving one of these enemas, but some people will also benefit from re-administration. It is an endogenous zone, which explains why people employ enemas for entertainment.

Red Heart Riding Crops

Candlelight creates a lovely environment, but you can also burn the candle for painless fun. Of course, sex toys have been around for a long time, but this one was delightful for us. To avoid unintentional burns, candles can be burned at a comfortable temperature for your body. Massage can be done using candles. These are available in various delectable flavours, including Bourbon and light vanilla. When a candle burns, it turns into massage oil. Enjoy!

“Traditionally, cuckolding occurs in heterosexual relationships when a female partner sleeps with or humiliates her lover about being in bed with someone else,” Horn explains. Unless he believes he is having sexual contact with another person, the husband may not even be present. Some people experience voyeurism as a result of their cuckoldry. This is not just a problem for heterosexual couples; people from all areas of life can appreciate the cuckold variation.

Feather Tickler and Leather Slapper

Japanese bondage is a bondage that is performed with rope. “Kinbaku” refers to “the beauty of loose tying,” whereas “Shiroi,” a more general term, translates to “decoratively tied.” The decoration is correct: Shibari, a Japanese bondage type, is an art form in Japan. Some Shibari artists have held high-art exhibitions in which their theme is linked to a tree and transformed into trees.

BDSM actions do not always take place physically. Harsh language is as intense, if not more so than consenting physical trauma such as impact play. Name-calling and verbal abuse are two examples. It has frequently been presented as antifeminist, and there is a societal misperception about humiliations in general. Unfortunately, most feminists prefer being called a “bitch,” “slut,” or “whore” in bed.

Treatments for Fetisishm

What are some practical approaches for treating fetishize? When a fetish disorder is present, it might lead to illegal behaviour and bad relationship development. In such cases, fetish treatment should reduce dependence on the fetish while raising inappropriate interest stimuli. The following are the most common treatment choices.

Can you describe the numerous forms of fetishes?

1. Body piercing.

Body piercing appears to be a popular fetish among the younger generation. It might be anything from the belly button to the tongue to the brows. Everyone should have at least one piercing on their body “that “position to elicit feelings of desire” One should be very careful about where he gets his piercing done. The area should be kept clean and clear of any infection. It’s also a good idea to disinfect the ornament you’re wearing.

2. Latex fetish.

Men have a thing for the material. The “wrong” and “naughty” are always appealing. It’s a tease to see a woman move around in anything tight and sparkly. Women frequently wear signature stockings. Latex clothing also works as a trigger. Fetishes are frequently linked to an object or tactile sensation.”.

3. Fascination with having sex with a sex professional.

The high from having tainted intercourse with a sex worker is exhilarating. “When having sex with a prostitute, one should ensure that the individual is free of sexually transmitted illnesses. Otherwise, he will have to spend considerably more for a few minutes of fun.”

4. Voyeurism and display.

Many couples admit to being turned on by pornography or spying on another pair in the act. On the other hand, some couples prefer to be watched or even videotape their sessions to watch them afterwards.

5. Fetish for body parts.

A fetish for body parts is a common sexual interest. It doesn’t matter if it’s your partner’s hand, foot, or even nails – it’s a sexual high. According to the University of Columbia’s most outstanding global study of sexual quirks, the feet and shoes are the biggest turn-ons.

6. Braids and ponytails

Men have always had a thing for women’s hair. Men appreciate the feel of a woman’s hair, whether blondes, brunettes, redheads, long-haired, short-haired, thickly haired, or curly-haired. Inch is frequently utilized as a prop in sexual encounters.

7. Unusual costumes to increase sex

This is viral among couples that enjoy role-playing.

Yoni Eggs: A Way To Connect With Your Sacred Feminine Energy

Yoni Eggs are carved from crystals into an egg shape form. Yoni is the Sanskrit word for vagina, and it translates to “a sacred space.” Yoni eggs, also known as sexual healing crystals, are inserted into the vagina to promote healing and connection to the sacred space. These crystals help to connect with sacred femininity, as well as to tone the pelvic floor.

If you want to discover how these sexual healing crystals can help connect with your sacred femininity, read on!

How do Yoni Eggs Work?

Crystal yoni eggs

Everyone knows well about Kegel exercises, and it’s reasonable to say that when done correctly, they help tone and activate the pelvic floor. Compared to the vaginal strengthening techniques possible when using a Yoni Egg, regular kegel workouts are nothing.

Many gemstones aid connecting deeply to your divine feminine energy during meditation. While some women even use their eggs during Yoga to boost up energy.

How can a Yoni egg Help you?

The egg-shaped crystal is ceremonially placed inside the vaginal canal. Many supporters argue that they imbue the womb space with sexual healing crystals which leads to various health benefits. Although scientific results don’t prove these physical health benefits, according to healers and spiritual sex specialists, Yoni eggs can assist in:

  • Fostering deeper connection and awareness to the seat of sexuality (the vagina and sacral chakra)
  • Assist during meditation to increase sexual healing and pleasure
  • Increase libido and orgasms during masturbation and partnered sex

What are the Main Benfits of Using a Yoni egg?

These day’s plastic surgeons are surgically tightening women’s vaginas. Our ancestors already knew how to do this naturally. Research has found that using yoni eggs helps support the pelvic floor, urinary, digestive, sexual, and overall wellness in the body. Additional benefits of using Yoni Eggs are:

  • After childbirth, gain control of the perineum and pelvic floor muscles
  • Keep your bladder healthy by strengthening the pelvic floor
  • Support Orgasmic Health: including vaginal, cervical, and uterine orgasms
  • Regular practice will help stimulate the Bartholin gland, which produces lubrication at the opening of the vagina. After this, women notice their vaginas become juicier, which can help relieve vaginal dryness during sex.
  • Can release emotional and energetic imprints stored in the vaginal tissue by inserting something that activates gentle sensation.
  • Deal with traumas, as it can restore trust in the body
  • Become closer to one’s own body by learning what it likes and feels like.
  • Awaken creative energy, passion, libido, and sexuality

Want to Give it a go? Here’s How to do it

Upon receiving your yoni egg, you should give it a thorough cleansing. Use a natural soap to wash it. Rinse thoroughly, holding your egg under running water with the tip facing downward. Allow the Yoni Egg to air dry by placing it on a dry towel. If desired, clear your yoni egg using your favorite Smudge before placing it inside.

Preparation

Your yoni egg needs a thorough energetic cleansing before you can use it. Use sun or moonlight to charge your yoni egg by placing it on the window all day. It is potent if you place yoni egg under the light of the luminaries with a strong intention.

Once you charged the egg, it’s time to activate your intentions. Sit with your stone and imagine what the desired outcome you intend feels like. Sit and enjoy that feeling as you prepare to insert the egg inside of you

Each crystal has a unique vibration to assist your healing journey. While knowing the symbolism and traditional uses of crystals can be helpful, it is more important you purchase the yoni egg that draws you to it. You intuitively know what will assist your intention and healing.

Be advised not all crystals should be inserted inside. Make sure the yoni egg you choose is safely approved to be inside of the human body. Some basic crystals that are safe for insertion include clear quartz, rose quartz, Amethyst and Jade.

Insertion

First, tie your string/cord onto the tip of your Yoni Egg (through the drilled holes if they have one). Keep in mind that the cord should be long enough to assist you in case you need assistance. Insert it just like a tampon or cup.

Make sure the pointed or drilled side of the yoni egg is facing down. It means inserting the larger side first. You don’t have to worry about your yoni egg getting stuck. The egg can go as far as your cervix, which acts as a wall, keeping the egg within the vaginal wall only.

What to do Once it’s in

When the yoni egg is in, you have several ways to use it. You can use it for:

  • Exercise
  • Meditation
  • Cleansing of the sacred vagina

Removal

Removing your yoni egg is simple. Just get into a squat position and push out with your vaginal muscles. The yoni egg may be scooped out with your fingers, or pull the string if you use one.

Unexpected Benefits of a Yoni Egg

Yoni Eggs are tools that women have used for thousands of years to improve pelvic floor strength and sexual connection. Traditionally it was also used to circulate sexual energy into spiritual energy – moving the life force throughout the body. Here are some albeit unexpected benefits that you may experience by using Yoni eggs.

Awaken Internal Pleasure Zones

The constant use of the yoni egg will awaken the body’s erogenous zones like the G-Spot, Cervix, A-Spot, and P-Spot. Most of us pay special attention to the clitoris for external pleasure, but internally, using the egg-shaped weight begins to awaken the inner senses, making it easier to have orgasmic intercourse and adds to the feeling during sex. A yoni egg can help to self-stimulate! After inserting the egg into you, grasp the string attached to the egg and gently push it in so that it reappears in your vaginal entrance.

Healing Stored Sexual Trauma

Research shows that one in six women has experienced sexual abuse, leading to trauma being stored in the body. Regardless of whether you have gone through traumatic experiences or not, if you feel blocked you can clear it to become fully sexually expressive with yourself or your partner(s). Numbness, pain, anorgasmia, and disassociation are physical manifestations of trauma you may retain in this area.

When you use a crystal yoni egg, you can help physically and emotionally recover at your own pace. You are visiting the source of the blockage, working with love, tenderness, gentleness, and presence to heal it. When you bring the egg to the vagina and breathe with it, that activity can provide a great deal of comfort.

To associate love and healing with your yoni rather than pain and disease, one can insert a crystal when open and ready. Egg-shaped things can help invoke a sense of new life instead of long and phallic things, which could cause distress or even be triggering for some.

It Creates a Strong Pelvic Floor, and Strong Body

We are in our entire body’s foundation, our pelvic floor. Keeping our muscular hammock healthy is essential for overall health and the spine and endocrine system. Here is an exercise you can do that will help you create a strong pelvic floor and a strong body.

After inserting your yoni egg, stay seated and squeeze your muscles down below. These are the same muscles you might squeeze when you’re holding your pee and ther’s no bathroom’s around. In general, we recommend having at least ten slow, two-times-a-day pulses. Squeeze the pelvic floor for three seconds, hold for three seconds, and then relax for three seconds. It would help if you strived to relax and release your pelvic floor while actively contracting and engaging it to avoid overworking it.

It is safe to get up and walk around once the egg is inside. The weight resistance and the vertical gravity of standing up also activates your muscles you as you hold the egg in place. Even if you cannot feel the egg’s weight, the pelvic floor is still being toned.

V-steaming And Feminine Health

V-steaming is short for Vaginal steaming, and people widely used this practice in ancient times. Another term for this ancient technique is Yoni Steaming, and it is now re-emerging in our modern times. There is a lot of chatter and interest about vaginal steaming on the internet.

For example, Gwyneth Paltrow pointed the benefits and advised women to steam-clean their vaginas. But is that true? If you want to know more about the benefits and drawbacks of vaginal steaming, come and find out.

What is Vaginal Steaming?

Let’s admit it, between menstruation, sexual intercourse, and childbirth; the vagina withstands a lot. When you add changing hormones and pelvic floor issues to the mix, sometimes the vaginal area is anything but comfortable.

Vaginal steaming is an ancient natural cure for cleansing the vagina and the uterus, regulating menstruation, and reducing bloating and cramps. After receiving high praise on Gwyneth Paltrow’s website Goop, the practice became popular among many spas.

“You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al. It is an energetic release – not just a steam douche – that balances female hormone levels.” – Gwyneth Paltrow.

But other than offering soothing warmth down below, does it work? And is it even safe?

How Does Vaginal Steaming Work?

Vaginal steaming directs herbal steam to your vagina. Some upscale spas offer the process at a heavy price, so you can also do it at home. However, most doctors do not recommend it. The process is pretty easy. You sit or squat over a container of herbal-infused steam.

Herbs that are often used alone or in combinations are:

  • Mugwort
  • Wormwood
  • Camomile
  • Calendula
  • Basil
  • Oregano

Most spas have a special seat (as Paltrow would say, “the throne”). A towel or cloth is used to cover the legs so that no steam gets leaked out.

Can’t Visit a spa? Give it a try at Home

Following is the best and easiest way to make vaginal steam at home. The average session takes 20 to 60 minutes, but I recommend that the steaming session be less than 25 minutes.

  1. Add about a cup of your selected herbs to a hot water basin.
  2. Let herbs steep for at least one minute.
  3. Remove your clothes from the waist down.
  4. Stand or squat over the basin directly. Some prefer putting the tank in the toilet and then sitting on the toilet.
  5. Wrap a towel around your waist and legs to avoid escaping the steam.

The steam can cool sooner, depending on how hot the water is. But before you try it yourself, you will want to consider its supposed benefits and possible safety issues.

Benefits of Vaginal Steaming

Vaginal steaming has advantages and disadvantages. Many of the supposed benefits are not science proven so practice caution when trying steaming.

V-steaming supposedly alleviates:

  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Vaginal infection
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Headache
  • Fatigue

  • Generalized pain

A woman who battled infertility says vaginal steaming helped conceive. Marita Brooks, 30, was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which led to infertility. After six sessions of vaginal steaming, she conceived her first child.

We read stories like this, and in some cases, v-steaming helps people in different ways. In the case above, it helped with “curing” infertility. You might ask yourself, is this the case for all women? No, that is not the case.

Many women report they enjoyed next-level comfort and relief from vaginal steaming sessions. Vaginal steaming cleans the vagina, uterus, and entire reproductive tract as a natural remedy, although the claims don’t stop there. But most evidence of proven health and fertility by v-steaming are not science-backed.

Considerations

As the supposed benefits of vaginal steaming are not scientifically proven. Hence, there are chances that it won’t balance any hormones, and it can mess with your vagege’s good bacteria. The hormone factory is located in the ovary, so steaming your vagina won’t help with stabilizing hormones. Moreover, the vagina is a self-cleaning machine. We don’t need to take any actions to make it cleaner because it will ultimately dry up vaginal tissue and the effects of good bacteria down there.

Things you Need to Keep in Mind

The vagina is a self-cleaning organ of our body that regularly maintains pH balance. So with such an extraordinary feature, any additional interventions, such as vaginal steaming or douching, are not necessary to maintain vaginal health.

The best way to keep the vagina healthy is to keep it clean, dry, and free of perfumes. Therefore, most people should not try vaginal steaming. If they do try it, it is best to exercise extreme caution to reduce the risk of burns and infections.

We never know how hot the steam would be, so there are chances that it can burn the sensitive and delicate vaginal tissue. We will recommend that if you don’t know how to do it properly, go to a spa center.

The Bottom Line

V-steaming does not offer scientific evidence of all of the mentioned benefits it does. Vaginal steaming can make you relax and ease cramping as a heating pad does, but evidence in cleansing the vagina or uterus, improving fertility, and balancing hormones are purely anecdotal.

If you ask yourself, do I need V-steaming? The answer lies in what your end goal is.

The way I see it is like the difference between Physiotherapy vs. Massage. If you like to relax your muscles and feel good, then you go to regular massage therapy. If you have a specific problem with a specific muscle or area of the body, then you go to physiotherapy massage. The same idea can be applied to V-steaming.

Evidence shows that it offers better blood flow to the vagina, which means yoni steaming has general benefits to the vaginal organ. If you want to alleviate pain and reduce cramps, then yoni steaming is for you. If you want to increase the chance for fertility, v-steam might not be for you. You should look for a specialist that will help you in a better way.

We also suggest using it in moderation because vaginal steaming sometimes may dry up your vaginal area and increase the risk of vaginal infection.

Herbs may be natural, but they’re also potent. Used topically, it may cause an allergic reaction. There are safer ways to use heat and herbs for period relief. Try using a hot water bottle on your pelvic area and sip a warm cup of herbal tea.

If you want to try vaginal steaming, talk to your advisor or a qualified alternative health practitioner to weigh the pros and cons of your situation. Suppose you are not an expert to try it at home.

Yogi Bhajan Meditation And The Pursuit Of Happiness

Harbhajan Singh Khalsa, more commonly known as Yogi Bhajan and Siri Singh Sahib, was an Indian-born American entrepreneur, yoga teacher, and spiritual teacher. Yogi Bhajan was the founder of 3HO (the Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization) and you would be surprised to know that he was the creator of the specific brand of Kundalini Yoga we know today, bringing it to the to the U.S. teaching it opening in the late 60’s.

Yogi Bhajan meditation has influenced millions of lives throughout the world. He introduced kundalini meditation and kundalini yoga to the West, and soon others followed his teachings.

If you want to find out more about Yogi Bhajan meditation, continue reading our post.

Yogi Bhajan Meditation and Awakening of Western Spirituality

Yogi Bhajan introduced his brand of kundalini yoga into the United States in 1968 “Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.” He took yogic postures and techniques and attached them to Tantric theories and Sikh mantras thus synthesizing a new Kundalini yoga form, which largely stems from the ancient Raj Yoga.

To our surprise, Bhajan did not have a particular method of meditation or yoga. He combined both the yogic mechanics he learned from his practice and the mantras derived from Sikhism. Over the last four decades, the original form of Kundalini Yoga created by Yogi Bhajan has grown in popularity and influence due to the continued training of many thousands of teachers worldwide, including Europe and South Africa, Togo, Australia, and East Asia.

Yogi Bhajan meditation gained popularity through books, videos, and yoga teachers. David Shannahoff-Khalsa and others also contributed in popularizing it. It is also popular among many celebrities who practice it. One 2013 article the-ultra-spiritual-yoga-celebs-love in a New York wellness magazine describes Kundalini Yoga as “The Ultra-Spiritual Yoga Celebs Love”.

The Healing Art of Yogi Bhajan Meditation

Yogi Bhajan meditation is a technique that trains attention and awareness through mindfulness and focuses thought. Meditation may reduce negativity that could lead to a significant increase in the beneficial impact of life. It helps heal a person inside from past traumas, distorted relationships, and stress.

Meditation is performed in a variety of religious traditions. The earliest records of meditation are present in the ancient Hindu texts known as the Vedas. The practice of Kundalini yoga or Kundalini meditation is a combination of breath, movement, or sound.

However, it incorporates different breathing practices, movements, singing, dancing, and making sounds to distinguish it from other meditation and yoga methods. Moreover, these practices provide an outlet for negative emotions and thoughts thus giving healing impact.

Performing these exercises can lead to a Kundalini awakening. A Kundalini awakening is where there is an Ego-death in an individual and their creative, sexual energy arises within to give way to a more aligned, compassionate and connected life. People report having a Kundalini awakening after engaging in an intense sexual experience as the Kundalini is located at the base of the spine in our root chakra which is activated and engaged when we have sex.

The Motive Behind Meditation

Yogi Bhajan meditation or Kundalini Meditation and yoga serves the purpose of helping us realize our true nature by awakening our Kundalini, which is freedom from the false identities we constantly project onto ourselves. We can go deeper into our spirit by reducing our attachment to our public identities, inflamed egos, troubled minds, and contrived masks.

We increase our vibrations and align with divine frequencies through regulated breathing patterns (pranayama) and specific postures (body and hands) known as mudras. The pursuit of happiness, spiritual awakening, and liberation rely on our intentions.

When negative thoughts constrict our intentions, we constantly seek out those things that draw us away from our brightest and greatest potentials. We will slowly but surely achieve liberation if we can maintain single-mindedness and heart-centeredness in our spiritual aims.

Practicing yogi Bhajan meditation and yoga can help us in this quest.

Yogi Bhajan’s Original Kundalini Meditation Guide

Sit Comfortably With your Spine Straight

To practice yogi Bhajan meditation, bend your knees, keeping your back and neck straight. Sitting on a meditation pillow on the floor will help your spine, improve your breathing patterns, and deepen the effects of your breath.

Form a Mudra

Mudras are specific hand formations. They work on Buddhist and Hindu principles and inspire energetic flow and an uprising of vibration. For Yogi Bhajan meditation, use your hands to create an open-fingered (pointed upward) chalice or lotus flower. It would be best to press your pinkies and thumbs together while you spread out other fingers to form an open cavity. Hold this flower in front of your heart, remembering to keep your spine straight.

Eyes Movement

If possible, try to close your eyes and open them as slightly as possible. It is a good idea to roll your eyes upward because it adds to the overall experience. One can also Look down or toward the light with the open slit.

Settle-in

To relax into a pre-meditative state, inhale deeply and exhale three times. Pause, breathe regularly and then repeat. Amidst this breathing, release tension, fear, masks, and preconceived notions.

Fifteen Minutes of Deep Breathing

Exhale one-third of a full breath and hold for 15 seconds when practicing pranayama breathing. Take another one-third and hold your breath for 15 seconds. For the last 15 seconds, take a breath, and then exhale.

Allow yourself to focus on the breath for 5 to 15 minutes. You are making it a goal to get there as close to 15 minutes as possible. You can also start withholding your breath for 10 seconds at each interval. Alternatively, you can choose to increase the timing ranges to 20 seconds in length.

Eleven Minutes of Chanting Mantra

The original mantra for this meditation is Har Jee Har Har Har Har Har Jee. The mantra translates roughly to: “O, my soul, (the creative) God is, God is, God is, God is, O, my soul.”

You may also chant the simpler mantra, “Sat Nam,” which means “Truth or True (Sat) identity (Nam).” If your faith falls under a different tradition, you may repeat the name of your desired deity.

Perform the initial pranayama breathing pattern one more time.

How does Kundalini meditation relate to Kundalini yoga?

Kundalini meditation is built into Kundalini yoga, and meditation is an important part of yoga. When it comes to helping people remove the mental chatter and obstacles that prevent them from seeing themselves clearly, both yoga and meditation practices are well-aligned.

Meditation is a form of physical rest and is not concerned with movement. In the meantime, traditional yoga emphasizes several different breathing patterns, various physical exercises, and simple meditation.

Without Kundalini meditation, there would be no Kundalini yoga, yet the inverse is not necessarily true. Many enlightened spiritual masters believe that meditation is one of the most effective ways to grow spiritually.

Finding out your authentic self deepens your connection to your true self, expands your spirit, and allows you to have a larger capacity for compassion and awareness.

Yoga Practices Nowadays

A significant amount of the trendy and derivative styles of yoga in the market today are simply exercising regimens. Yoga can be ego-centered because of the focus on flexibility, impressive posing and the physical body. Yoga is meant to be a moving meditation, deepening mindfulnes practice and spiritual presence.

Pop-culture new-age yoga has become a part of everyday life. The phenomenon has had both positive and negative consequences. Some types of new yoga encourage people to connect to inner peace and liberation, while others are about self-gratification.

According to ancient principles, this type of narcissistic validation can quickly placate and stifle an individual’s ability to achieve divinely inspired clarity. It is important to make a wise choice when selecting a yogic path. Incorporate the original Hindu and Buddhist teachings by seeking out clear, loving, dedicated instructors who embody those principles.

You can learn more about Yogi Bhajan’s meditation teachings at 3HO and the Library of Teachings. If you want to practice Yogi Bhajan meditation techniques at home, give a good read to “The 21 Stages of Meditation: Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan”.

What It Is Like To Have Sex On MDMA: A Life-Changing Experience

The first time having sex on MDMA is unbelievable. I tried it, and I can say that everything is amplified, your mind is quiet and it felt thrilling! MDMA creates an exceptional experience that drives you to higher levels of pleasure and sensations in sex.

You don’t jump to the climax at once, but with each passing second, a new wave of energy will sift through your body. MDMA enhances what’s already there for you. Sex on MDMA is also very emotional, visceral, and psychological.

Want to find out more about MDMA and sex? Then keep on reading!

What is MDMA?

MDMA, also known as Ecstacy, E, or Molly is a psychoactive drug primarily used for both medicinal and recreational purposes that provides hallucinogenic and stimulant effects. The effects include altered sensations, increased energy, empathy as well as pleasure.

When taken by mouth, effects begin in 30 to 45 minutes and last 3 to 6 hours. Sasha Shulgin is an American biochemist and the Godfather of Ecstasy as he concocted MDMA. He also created a few hundred psychedelic compounds, including the 2C family of psychotropics. Real Ecstasy or E is Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) – although there’s less MDMA in E now than in the past. Many people know it with the name ‘club drug’ for its widespread use in clubs, dance parties, and house parties for a heightened experience of joy, connection and sensual pleasure.

How Does Sex on MDMA Feel?

Sex on MDMA can be life-changing. It can be a magical concoction for a perfect sexual experience. Ecstasy can make people horny, with an increased sense of touch and sensitivity to stimuli.

“With MDMA, my body sensations are just all in full effect. I feel mellow and aware. A touch, a sensual look, almost anything can stimulate me”, said a 23-year-old anonymous female from our Community.

As you can see, Ecstacy creates an intensely positive and pleasurable sex engagement. This drug is really good for foreplay and builds up the intensity slowly to culmination.

The Highs and Lows of sex on Ecstacy

About half an hour after taking the sex drug MDMA, your brain releases chemicals dopamine and serotonin that make you feel good. For up to six hours, you can feel chilled out, buzzing with energy, less uptight, and ‘loved up’ (full of affection, even for total strangers). And these emotions are really nice when you are in the middle of a cuddle puddle or horny and ready to have sex. But not all side effects are that positive while on MDMA.

You can feel enhanced sounds, bright flashing lights, another reason for E’s popularity with clubbers. Jaw clenching, teeth grinding, and sweating are common. E can sometimes cause anxiety or panic attacks if you are new to it, taken too much or not accustomed to it.

You must know that MDMA and other sex drugs can push up your body temperature to what could be life-threatening levels, made worse by hot clubs and dancing. Days after taking the drug, one can feel down or irritable as MDMA taps your seratonin and dopamine levels, the hormones that produce happy feelings. The research looks at how the drug might permanently affect the brain (such as memory loss and depression).

The drug enhances empathy and other emotional states but lowers your inhibitions making risky sex more common with folks who are not prepared to enter this altered state.

A small number of people seem to be hypersensitive to the drug, making their first experience dangerous. I will add that many people discover that while on MDMA, they can’t get stiff or cum. That is why they blend ecstasy with Viagra, known as “sextasy“. Regardless, the user typically finds sex and sensual touching enjoyable, not needing to cum or become erect.

In What Forms is MDMA Available?

Sex drugs are widely available in different forms like tablets, powders, and liquids. Likewise, MDMA has availability in different forms. Ecstasy (shortened “E,” “X,” or “XTC”) is available in tablet form, although this may also include the presence of possible adulterants or diluents.

The UK term “mandy” and the US term “molly” colloquially refer to MDMA in a crystalline powder form free of contaminants. MDMA is also present in the hydrochloride salt, either as loose crystals or in gelcaps.

You can sometimes find MDMA tablets in a shape that may depict popular culture characters, likely for deceptive reasons. These are sometimes collectively referred to as “fun tablets.”

Powdered MDMA ranges from pure MDMA to crushed tablets with 30–40% purity. MDMA tablets are typically less pure. To dilute the drug and to increase profits, manufacturers add certain agents that affect its purity. Ecstasy tablets sometimes contain caffeine, opiates, or painkillers. Some tablets contain little or no MDMA.

The average content of MDMA in preparation is 70 to 120 mg, with the purity has increased since the 1990s. Most people consume MDMA by mouth, but some prefer to snort it.

MDMA or Sexy Drug 2C-B?

The psychoactive substance 2C-B, according to Shulgin, is the most sensual hallucinogen. However, MDMA remains enduringly popular. According to The Atlantic, the doctors said 2C-B “decreases irrational fear responses to perceived emotional threats”.

Today, couples continue the tradition on their own. Both sex drugs, MDMA and 2C-B, enhance the physical and emotional sensations of sex. World Drug Report 2018 stated that in 2016, about 21 million people between the ages of 15 and 64 used ecstasy (0.3% of the world population).

A study on MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly) found that in the United States, as of 2017, about 7% of people used MDMA at some point in their lives, and 0.9% have used it in the last year.

Useful Things to Know Before you try Sex on MDMA

You can avoid overheating and dehydration by drinking a pint of water over every hour that you’re on MDMA and by taking breaks. But drinking too much water can be dangerous. Once you feel high after taking the drug, your body has consumed the chemicals. They take a few days to be replaced. This is why people build up a tolerence to E very quickly.

People with a history of mental illness or depression problems should not take MDMA sex drugs. It can trigger depression or make it worse if you have it already. Avoid using it if you have blood pressure problems, heart, liver, kidney problems, eye condition glaucoma, or a history of stroke. Ecstasy pushes up blood pressure and heart rate.

The focus and usage of any sex drug should remain on therapeutic efficacy. If psychedelics help alleviate depression, anxiety, and existential distress, we need to follow the research studies and implement these tools wisely. If your mental health is sound, MDMA can ultimately improve your sex life. We are a sex-positive community, so we are simply here to bring you information.

The Best Kundalini Yoga Guide You Will Ever Read

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves singing, chanting, breathing, and repeating poses. It intends to activate your kundalini energy or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that is said to be at the base of your spinal cord. As Kundalini Yoga awakens this energy, it should improve your consciousness and help you move past your ego. The practice is sometimes also called “the yoga of awareness.”

Read more about the benefits of Kundalini yoga and how it differs from other types of yoga.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini yoga is practiced worldwide, although its origin is unknown. The concept of Kundalini energy has been around for centuries and is present in ancient Vedic texts from 1,000 B.C. Kundalini yoga is most associated with Yogi Bhajan, a yoga teacher from Pakistan. He introduced the practice to Western countries in the 1960s.

The term “Kundalini” comes from the Sanskrit word “kundal,” which means “circular.” It also refers to a coiled snake. According to practitioners, Kundalini energy is like that coiled snake: It sits at the base of your spine, sleeping and untouched. Kundalini yoga helps activate this energy, allowing it to move up and through the chakras along your spine.

In yoga, chakras are your body’s seven energy centers. They include:

  • Root chakra
  • Sacral chakra
  • Naval, or solar plexus chakra
  • Heart chakra
  • Throat chakra
  • Third eye chakra
  • Crown chakra

As the energy of Kundalini rises, it helps to balance these chakras and help your spiritual well-being. Kundalini yoga is said to lead to spiritual enlightenment with regular practice. It is also called “the awakening of Kundalini.”

How Does it Differ From Other Types of Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is more spiritual like the original forms of yoga. It still involves physical movements, but the main focus is not on them. It is different from, for example, Hatha or vinyasa yoga, which both revolve around physical poses.

Kundalini yoga is more accurate and repetitive. Whereas other types of yoga flow with your breath, Kundalini yoga combines chanting, singing, movements, and breathing in specific patterns.

Six Main Components of Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga consists of six main components, which comes in the following order:

  • Opening chant: Every class begins with an opening chant, also known as tuning in.
  • Pranayama or warmup: You’ll do breathing exercises, called pranayama, and sometimes also movements to stretch your spine. The goal of pranayama is to practice breath control.
  • Kriya: A kriya is a sequence of postures, pranayama, mudras (hand positions), sounds, and meditation. The length and intensity of the kriya depend on your instructor.
  • Relaxation: It allows your body and mind to absorb the effects of a kriya.
  • Meditation: Your instructor guides you through meditation to cultivate awareness.
  • Closing chant: The class ends with a closing chant.

What are the Benefits of Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini yoga has several scientific and anecdotal advantages. Let’s take a closer look at them.

Stress and anxiety relief

Kundalini yoga can help relieve stress and anxiety-like other forms of yoga. In a small 2017 study, Trusted Source, volunteers experienced immediate stress relief after doing Kundalini yoga. This effect continued after three more months of practice.

Similarly, a 2018 study determined that eight weeks of Kundalini yoga lowered participants’ anxiety levels. The researchers concluded that Kundalini yoga could be an effective treatment for people with widespread anxiety disorder. The researchers concluded.

Improves cognitive function

In a 2017 controlled trial, researchers studied 81 participants with mild cognitive impairment. The participants were randomly divided into two groups. One group was involved in Kundalini yoga, while the other received 12 weeks of memory improvement training.

While both groups demonstrated significant improvements in their memory at the end of the study, only the Kundalini group showed short-term and long-term improvements in their executive functioning. This includes skills such as reasoning, problem resolution, and cognitive flexibility.

In addition to cognitive improvements, there were fewer symptoms of depression in the group practicing Kundalini yoga at the end of the study.

Boosts self-perception

Another small 2017 study found that Kundalini yoga may improve body positivity and self-acceptance. These benefits were observed in nine women diagnosed with anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.

According to the researchers, Kundalini yoga may help by improving self-perception and self-appreciation.

Spiritual illumination

It’s believed that you become more spiritually connected with yourself and others as your Kundalini energy awakens. These benefits are not scientifically proven, but anecdotal evidence supports them. The purported benefits may include the following:

  • More empathy
  • Enhanced creativity
  • Improved charisma
  • Increased energy
  • Inner peace

  6. Then change the sides of your left leg, bend your left arm, and hold for another 2 to 3 minutes while breathing deeply.

Is Kundalini Yoga Safe?

Kundalini yoga, like all yoga, needs practising with safety in mind. Please use caution if you have:

  • Breathing problems
  • Joint pain
  • An injury
  • Balance problems
  • Pregnancy

If you are not sure if Kundalini is safe for you, talk to your doctor to determine if you should take any precautions or if a safer exercise option is available.

The Bottom Line

Kundalini yoga combines yoga flow with breathing, much more like traditional yoga. Kundalini yoga helps to activate kundalini energy with the combination of singing, movement, and breathing in unique patterns. The aim is to promote spiritual enlightenment and connection to the body.

Kundalini yoga has several scientific advantages. Research shows that it helps relieve stress and anxiety, improved cognitive function, self-perception, and enhanced self-appreciation.

Our safety tip is to talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, have breathing difficulties, injury, joint pain, or balance issues to ensure kundalini yoga is safe for you. Also, make sure you wear comfy clothes.

How to Understand Kundalini Energy Under 10 Minutes

Are you new to subtle energy or want to learn more? Many people have heard of the term Kundalini, but their understanding of this concept is unclear. Each of us has the energy of spiritual transformation called Kundalini or Kundalini Shakti. Kundalini comes from Hindu tradition and means “coiled” or “power of the serpent,” and metaphorically means “power of consciousness.” Most spiritual practices in the world mention this, even the Bible and Buddhism.

In this article, I’ve gathered information to help you better understand and answer your questions on Kundalini energy.

What Kind of Energy is Kundalini?

Kundalini has often been depicted as a serpent curled up at the base of the spine at the root chakra. It is believed that there are unwoken people who have the serpent’s head located at the second chakra, Swadishtana.

The snake comparison is by no means a coincidence. А snake’s poison can take a life, but it can save one from significant sickness if adequately prepared.

Kundalini is the ultimate strength of life. This energy is there since birth and lies dormant in most of us. In some ways, it is like a cable with a plug-in point that could not find its power connection. Today, many people are looking for this through Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Tantra.

Upon activating the Kundalini energy, it flows within us like the wavy shape of a snake, curving from the spinal base into the gut, heart, and head.

As energy flows through this ‘pipe,’ it passes through all our chakras, giving every chakra a ‘boost’ as energy activates them (both Kundalini and Chakra live in the subtle body), all the way to our head, the crown chakra. It passes through our nadis (energy pipes, which allow energy to flow in our bodies). It results in an expanded awareness state.

What’s so Special About Kundalini Energy?

In Tantra, where Kundalini is often called Shakti, the goal of practice is to raise energy to the head. For Hindu tradition, the power of Lord Shiva resides in the head. The union of feminine and masculine energy leads us out of duality and into our state of divinity. It’s the purest union in ecstasy.

As kundalini energy moves upward, activating each chakra expands our mystical, spiritual experiences and transforms us. It changes us so that the more energy rises and our chakras are activated, the more we merge with the universe and cosmic consciousness. Kundalini’s energy awakening effects include a greater sense of life, creativity, and support in reaching our full potential.

“The great goddess Kundalini, the primordial energy of the self, sleeps in the sexual region of the body. She has a form rather like a serpent, having three and one half coils. As long as she remains asleep, the individual soul (Shiva) is limited and true knowledge does not arise. But just as the right key unlocks a particular door, so Hatha Yoga unlocks the door of Kundalini, allowing the self to experience Brahma and obtain Liberation.” Gheranda Samhita

Dangers and Pitfalls

The ultimate strength of life, Kundalini’s energy, is pure creative power. But what it is created from can destroy it too. Kundalini is often portrayed as a snake, and no wonder the poison can kill us too. However, it can also save us from disease when we discover its purposes.

Working with Kundalini is crucial for seekers of spiritual mysteries within sexuality. Yet, sex works as a snake that can take us into rehabilitation or empowering us. After all, we are in the plane of duality, where all extremes coexist. Discernment and humility in any energy work are necessary if we are not to get in danger.

Kundalini Energy Awakening and Passion go Hand-in-hand

The awakening of kundalini energy does not happen gradually. No, one day after another, Kundalini is not a little by little being awake. It is a quantum leap in pure consciousness. If you feel something gradual and mild, here and there a bit of spark, it’s probably some other energy than kundalini energy.

There is no shortage of energy in the body. The energy sometimes flows to prepare for a future increase in Kundalini. We are all human. Occasionally, we say that our Kundalini is rising as we feel that we are progressing. It fills us with pride and makes us even feel better.

Unfortunately, spirituality often does not go hand in hand with personal development.

Many people rush to say that they have a kundalini awakening after feeling a new rise in energy. The human body has several energy channels, and there can be a lot of activity in our Nadis without the kundalini awakening. Again, we are asked not to jump to conclusions and watch our egos.

Again, the metaphor of the serpent has a precise meaning: it forces the awakening to shed our skin and reveal our innermost self.

“Before awakening the kundalini, you must have deha suddhi (purity of body), nadi suddhi (purity of the nadis), manas suddhi (purity of mind), and buddhi suddhi (purity of the intellect).” Swami Sivananda

Dissolution of an Individual Self

Are you ready to welcome the destruction of our self-image, the dissolution of an individual self? It can be frightening and even devastating for those who are not prepared. Kundalini’s awakening can cause an internal earthquake and havoc. Different levels of change are significant: physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological abilities.

For some, what is blissful is a nightmare for others. Once the awakening comes, it will be impossible to avoid those parts of us that we had left under the carpet. Moreover, when the awakening occurs, it is beyond our control. It means that it can happen without your will or when you are far from ready.

People who have never heard of kundalini energy and have no spiritual practice before can experience awakenings. Even for those who want to rise and prepare willingly, it can be not easy. The awakening can stress the body as the energy penetrates. It can bring various sensations such as shaking, vibrating, spontaneous movement, visions.

Fundamental practices are essential. Kundalini’s energy can take us too far by removing our delusions of a separate self. Yes, it could be a lovely journey. But we live on Earth, in the material world, and here we must function. It is necessary to know how to return to Earth and anchor the received energy. The vastness of expanding our awareness can be overwhelming.

Again, when it happens, it might not be in the safety of our home or the bedroom with a loved one. Practices can support us to prepare ourselves, yet the maxim holds: there is no such thing as control. Our sense of control has to do with fear, pride, self-image, and destroying these are Kundalini’s tasks.

How Can One Awaken Kundalini Shakti?

Taking the kundalini energy from the base of the spine up to the crown chakra is a lifetime challenge. Sometimes we can start with Muladhara, the root chakra, and perhaps get it right up to the third chakra Manipur. But until we connect it with Sahasrara, the crown chakra, we don’t stabilize the energy.

Yogis and Tantric devotees spend years preparing for this energy in case there will be dangers and pitfalls. I do believe that we can stimulate its rise, but when (and if) it awakes, it is indeed out of our control.

The energy could spontaneously awaken for some. However, for most of us, conscious awakening requires a strong mind, a balanced body, and awareness of the movement of this raw energy. Physical strength is essential, and a healthy diet and exercise can be a great help.

Clarity of intentions and willingness to do the work is crucial when it comes to mental strength. Modalities such as Hatha, Tantra, Kundalini yoga, Breathwork, and intonations can significantly support you.

You will find various perspectives when you Google “How to awaken your Kundalini energy.” Some focus on certain foods, claims, distractions, and music. I refrain from discussing how much that stimulates the awakening. Instead, I will focus on what works better than others.

Tantra

There has been a lot of confusion in recent years over what Tantra is. Tantra is easily mistaken for sexual empowerment in the West. Tantra relies greatly on triggers as a pathway to wisdom. Traditionally, Tantra is an esoteric part of Hinduism and Buddhism. The Tantras are scriptures from esoteric traditions rooted in Hinduism and Buddhism. Anyhow, they teach many methods of “awakening.”

There are numerous tantra scriptures, and unfortunately, most have not been translated. There are many Hindu and Buddhist lineages, which results in endless Tantra. Each of these belongs to its group of writings. A famous translated script is “The Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra.” which has 112 methods of tantric meditation in it. However, this scripture is very atypical in comparison to most tantric scriptures.

Sex

Sexual contact can stimulate and awaken the Kundalini energy. Just as the poison of a snake can kill us or help us recover from disease, sex can hold us or set us free. The Kundalini energy can turn biological instincts into the urge to transcend.

Energies can achieve new levels of convergence by making love, which leads lovers to experience awakening spontaneously. A couple can learn to channel this energy into timeless bliss consciously to avoid risking.

Breathing is the key to energy circulation: deep breathing and breathing synchronization with your partner through convergence and vital breath exchange. Pelvic movement and grunting also play an essential role.

Sitting love positions work best in these practices, as they provide the right way to increase energy.

Shaktipat

Shaktipat is the transmission of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student. In addition to providing the student with new energy, it also helps them to remain active and stable.

The transfer most often occurs by touch. For example, the teacher can touch the third area of the student’s eye. However, there are other ways: the transfer can occur by sight, a mantra, or a word.

The guru cannot transmit their energy but rather an ancient member of its incarnate spiritual lineage.

Movements: Shaking and Dancing

Engage your hips. Make sounds. Your body is the field of energy. Chakra dancing, shaking your body, feeling the shake coming from Earth, freestyle dancing, and belly dancing are great ways to stimulate energy.

I did Everything to Wake it up, But it Doesn’t Seem to Work. What’s Wrong?

We have minor energetic blockages sometimes. More straightforward practices can be sufficient in such cases. Other times, we have significant energetic blockages in our subtle bodies that need regular practice to free them.

Our subtle body has not just not one, but many. There are seven in many traditions (although you will find traditions stating more or fewer layers). Whatever our numbers, the practical implications of a block in the subtle body are identical. Kundalini energy can rise superficially through somebodies but can’t do the entire work.

When we do extensive work to clear old blockages, we are working on kundalini energy, and cleaning karma, which you will find out is fascinating on its own. In a way, we are returning to our original state, our divinity.

The Exceptional Experience of Tantra and the Sexual Healing Massage

Having positive sexual energy in your life is good for you and everyone around you. To manifest this energy, sexual healing from the inside is necessary. Sexual healing helps to stimulate the nerves located in our genitals to create new pathways of sensation to the brain. One ultimate way to explore and inhibit this energy is via a “sexual healing massage” or “tantra massage.”

One can discover entire new realms of fun, sensations, and unique connective experiences through sexual healing massage. Read on to know more about sexual healing so you can practice it now! :)

What is Sexual Healing Massage?

Sexual Healing Massage is a bodywork based on the principles of Tantra Massage. It is an ancient spiritual practice that is originated from Central and Southeast Asia. In most modern Western traditions, tantric massage involves massage and stimulating the whole body, with particular attention to sensitive areas such as the penis and vulva. Sometimes it is referred to as an erotic massage, although tantra massage also includes breathing, meditation, and mindfulness elements that are not necessarily sexual.

Tantric massage also has a spiritual and energetic component where the giver helps move the recipient’s energy throughout the body to promote inner healing. The giver becomes a conduit of healing energy to encourage renewal, shedding and revitalization to the energy of the receiver.

“As this sacred practice is skillful, it may affect the deepest layers and aspects of a person and become a profound instrument for spiritual and emotional healing,” says Tiffany Tanner, a Tantra Teacher and Massage Therapist from Arizona.

This practice incorporates the tantric essence of shakti or energy. Tantra stems from an ancient Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain tradition, but most tantra taught and practiced in the West may be called neo-tantra. This modern adaptation focuses specifically on sacred sexuality rather than the other traditional spiritual and religious elements rooted in tantra.

What Happens During a Tantra Massage?

Tantra massage is offered in a studio or spa center. Tantra massage usually includes massaging and stimulating the entire body, including genitalia, while performing breathing, meditation, and other spiritual practices used to activate the physical body.

Some types of tantric massage include the Yoni Massage that focuses on the vulva, and Lingam Massage that focuses on the penis ( and the prostate). Tantric massage can also be done with a partner at home and can be a way to introduce a slower and more intimate form of sexuality into the couple’s sex life.

During a tantra massage, people can orgasm, but this is not the intent. Sexual healing massage is more about learning about pleasure, releasing energy blocks and tension, and spiritual connection with your own pleasure. Intercourse does not usually belong to a tantra massage, although a tantra massage can be considered a part of tantric sex between a couple.

How to Give a Tantric Massage?

It is helpful to learn a bit about tantric principles in general before giving a sexual healing massage. This knowledge will ensure that you will approach it from a perspective of sacred connection and deliberate pleasure.

These are the critical elements of a tantra massage or sexual healing massage:

  • The receiver can receive pleasure without being obliged to reciprocate.
  • The giver is willing to offer pleasure through massage without receiving a massage in return.
  • The giver needs to learn how to read their partner’s body language, in addition to verbal communication and understand the importance of touch.
  • Forget about time and surrender to flow.
  • Each partner is keen to please the other partner through mindful presence.
  • Both partners need to keep solid personal hygiene.

Sometimes it’s difficult for a receiver to say what they wanted to be touch by the giver. It takes time, experience, and openness to learn to touch someone in a way they wanted to be touched.

Specific Tantra Massage Types

The following are instructions for specific tantra massage types. You can do it yourself or with a partner. These will allow spiritual and sexual healing, thus justifying the term “sexual healing massage.”

Lingam Massage

A Lingam Massage focuses on honoring and pleasuring the penis.

  1. Relax the receiver by lying in a comfortable position with his legs and knees bend. Remind them to breathe deeply during the entire experience of the sexual healing massage.
  2. Practice breathing in their arousal energy as you inhale and sending love energy to them as you exhale.
  3. Lubricate the genital areas, massage the thighs, pubic bone, and perineum first by sliding your hands in that areas.
  4. Gently massage the testicles. You can pull it a bit, cup it in your hands to pamper it or use your fingernails carefully.
  5. Massage the shaft by using different grips, stroke sequences, and twisting movements. Vary between one hand and two, vary in speed from and slow to quick.
  6. Don’t let them climax. Keep the receiver on the orgasm’s edge, also known as edging in kink.
  7. If the receiver is comfortable, boost their sacred spot, also known as the prostate.
  8. If they are ready, let your partner climax with an orgasm of ejaculation and feel the delight of tantra massage.

Yoni Massage

While Lingam focuses on the penis, Yoni Massage focuses on honoring and pleasuring the vulva.

  1. Relax the receiver. Sit on in a comfortable spot with a pillow under hips, knees, and feet.
  2. Guide them to their breathing. Give a body massage or tantric breast massage to warm up the body.
  3. Slowly move towards the vulva to stimulate the clitoris, alternate between circles, pushing and pulling, tugging and rolling, tapping, and G-spot massage.
  4. Encourage your partner to practice surrendering to multiple orgasmic waves for a prolonged experience of sexual healing massage instead of one burst of sexual energy.

Tantric Breast Massage

The tantric breast massage or nipple massage applies the principle of tantra massage to the breasts.

  1. Set the place to make your partner feel sexy with candles, incense, or music.
  2. Remind them to concentrate on their breath, taking long and deep breaths.
  3. Drip some oil between the breasts and the belly.
  4. Begin by massaging the belly to stimulate sexual energy before you move to the breasts.
  5. Slowly circle the breasts with a feathery touch, and then massage and gently squeeze them.
  6. Once the receiver’s body begs for it, move to the nipples by pinching and rolling.
  7. As the receiver approaches the orgasm, massage their body from neck, head, up to the scalp. This way, you will send a surge of energy through the spine and rock their hips to create exciting waves of pleasure throughout their whole body.

Bonus Tantra Techniques for Sexual Healing

To enjoy more sexual healing, here are a few more techniques:

Tantric Masturbation

Tantric Masturbation involves making love to yourself through touching, breathing, and meditation. Unlike “supportive” rubbing or masturbation, solo tantric sex is more spiritual, exploratory, and mind-blowing than your usual manual work.

Energy orgasm

Energy Orgasm is a practice explored with a partner or alone and involves separating the sensation of orgasm from the stimulation needed for a physical climax.

Semen Retention

Semen retention is a sexual practice that is aiming to prevent ejaculation. Some people do it by abstaining from any sexual activity. Still, in some traditions (including tantric sex), the method of sperm retention means learning to have an orgasm without ejaculation, also known as a dry orgasm. In tantra, it is believed that semen retention leads to more energy and creativity since one is not disposing of or releasing their semen, known to hold the potential for potency, magnetism and creation.

Tantric sex is as much about physical techniques as it is about the mind. It is about celebrating the sacredness of our bodies and desires wholeheartedly while bringing a quality of consciousness to the expected manifestation of pleasure.
