Why Making Love On Magic Mushroom Is Thrilling

The first time I got high was on mushrooms with friends in the forest. I remember feeling each strain of grass sift through my fingers and hands. I felt like my consciousness expanded, and we were born anew. It was like we discovered grass for the first time. Everything felt so new and exciting.

If the grass felt this good while shrooming, then what would sex feel like?

What It’s Like to Have Sex on Magic Mushrooms?

“Time slowed and we could appreciate all the little moments of sex like never before,” said Judas Kane, a self-proclaimed psychonaut based in Atlanta. “When we were inside each other, there would emerge an iridescent pattern of fractals.”

Nice right? But, you may also want to know a thing or two before going hard on mushrooms.

A Thing or two About Magic Shrooms

The magic mushroom is a psychedelic that could be an awesome experience for every stoner at least once in a blue moon. If you are interested in combining sex with magic fungi, there are some things you need to know first.

180 different species of mushrooms contain psilocybin. That is a lot of mushrooms, here you can find out more about them. The most common psychedelic mushrooms are:

  • Psilocybe Cubensis
  • Psilocybe Semilanceata
  • Psilocybe Baeocystis

Top-tier countries are gradually legalizing magic fungi. Denver voted to decriminalize magic fungi earlier this year, and activists are now lobbying the national conference to do so. Shroom stoners are having their moment right before our eyes.

Let us, therefore, list the things you need to keep in mind if you use magic mushrooms before sex. The first is to have permission from your partner to use psilocybin.

Tripping on mushrooms can start at a concert and get steamy in bed, regardless of the reasons behind using magic mushrooms. Having psychedelic sex while tripping is more than exhilarating.

Brad Burge, Head of Strategic Communications for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, notes: “The number one issue for psychedelics with sex is consent and the ability of both partners to retain appropriate boundaries by expressing clear consent.”

He points out that you can’t reason with psychedelic addicts because they’re not in a sober state of mind. But that is different if you do it consciously and with consent. That is why couples use magic mushrooms before having sex.

It is a Good Expereince but not Always

Once you are on mushroom sex, you can’t know what lies ahead. Suppose you go on a camping excursion or a music festival with a romantic partner (hey, sometimes you’re hoping for sweaty shroom sex). In that case, it’s wise to evaluate your intentions and limits before expanding your mind.

This is because psychedelics usually create deep experiences, for better or worse. For example, a couple may take risks without a care in the world while having mind-blowing orgasms. In addition, sexual encounters with mushrooms can cause the partner to be overwhelmed with the strangeness of body functions, which may bug them out.

Yeah, bad trips happen. Imagine how steamy sex is while you’re sober. Now imagine tripping on mushrooms. This increases the stakes of bad trips.

“Talk in advance to discuss intentions and borders,” says Michelle Janikian, author of Your Psilocybin Mushroom Companion: A Guide to Magical Mushrooms. “When both of you are using it, everything will just go smoothly so that everyone is on the same page.”

Magic Mushroom can Enhance Emotional Connection

Let us be real about something before we go any further. Some people like to mix drugs and sex with a random partner. There is nothing wrong with making love with a beautiful mermaid that you met in the dust of Burning Man.

I say this because magic mushrooms enhance your emotions. You can “fall in love” with a random person. Ecstasy sex can happen casually but make that decision before the drugs hit. Make a decision while you are in a sober state of mind, not while you are in аffective and emotional state.

“These drugs can facilitate quick intimacy so that people learn a lot about each other very quickly at a deep level,” Burge said. When sex on drugs is involved, what is normally a casual encounter can turn into feelings of love and connection.

Sensations are Enhanced

If you’re on mushroom sex, you are in your world. They make you understand and internally absorb your environment. Thus, although Judas Kane has a spirited personality, mushrooms made him more introverted.

“It allowed me to relax and enjoy the experience, and I spent much more time tripping than I would otherwise have.”

Kane also explained that the colors during his encounter were more vivid. “I could see the sweat beads on my lover’s body and how they were refracted by the lights in the room. I could see all the beautiful expressions on her face.

He also reported increased sound sensitivity. “I could listen to every instrument, every beat in the music playing individually, how our breathing and panting ultimately matched the track’s drums and how the sound resonated from all the walls.”

And Kane’s sense of touch was, of course, also amplified. “I could feel her pulse all over her body. I noticed this when we would take a break from having sex and lay there with one another. The sensory changes melted into each other to create a sexy and coherent experience.

Psychedelics with sex can be quite a fun ride. You may find yourself falling in love in the rain. It is an experience that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Psychedelic sex provides an exhilarating way to level up in relationships if you start small with someone you trust. But we advise you to take magic mushrooms in moderation.
